MRO System stands for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (or Overhaul) System. It refers to the processes, tools, and software used to manage the maintenance and upkeep of an organization’s assets such as machinery, equipment, facilities, or vehicles to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
About Project
An MRO System for Angkatan Pertahanan Awam to streamlines how maintenance activities are planned, executed and tracked. Its goal is to minimize downtime, extend asset lifespan and optimize costs.
Challenge
Before using the MRO System, the Civil Defence Department managed maintenance and asset operations manually and relying heavily on spreadsheets, printed forms, and physical reports.
Solution
With the MRO System, Malaysian Civil Defence Force has transitioned from manual, paper-based management to a streamlined, data-driven digital operation.
The department now enjoys:
